This week, P5 worked in groups to create a book all about the planets. Each group wrote a page about 1 of the planets in the solar system. This can be viewed on their Chromebook via the BookCreator site! 💻📖🪐 #bilstonbairns

Primary 4 have been learning about right angles. They made their own right angle checkers and then went on a scavenger hunt to see if angles hidden around the classroom were bigger, smaller or equal to 90 degrees. #BilstonBairns

P3/4 have been busy making their final products to sell at next week's Christmas fayre. 🎄🎅🎁 This is our Reindeer Candy Canes. These are strawberry flavour and smell delicious! 🍓 #bilstonbairns

Primary 4 put their addition and subtraction skills to the test this week. They were solving problems involving money by working out possible combinations of items and what change they would receive. #BilstonBairns

P7 enjoyed working with Mr Malone from @wildsidenat today creating bird feeders. We used apples and sunflower seeds, as well as recycled drinks bottles with sticks to make our feeders. They are now hung in the playground for birds this winter. #BilstonBairns

P7 were superstars on our visit to Rosslyn Chapel yesterday! We learned how and why the stained glass windows were created, investigated how they reflect on the stone in the chapel and created our own designs. Well done P7! #BilstonBairns

Primary 4 have been learning about current electricity this week. They have loved doing experiments with building circuits and testing which materials are conductors and insulators. #BilstonBairns
