Always happy to meet my dear friend and brother Dr Nik Gugger. We have known each other for over 15 years, and his warmth and positive spirit have remained the same. As Global Ambassador of KIIT & KISS, he has always shown great affection for our children.
Dr Nik is a 3 term Member of the Swiss Parliament. He was in Delhi as part of the delegation accompanying H.E. Mr Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, during his official visit for talks with the Government of India. It was lovely to spend time with him again. I value his friendship very much.
On #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild, my warm wishes to all our daughters. Every girl deserves to grow up safely, receive an education and make her own choices in life.
Nearly 80% of our students at KISS are girls. Giving them a home, an education and the confidence to stand on their own feet has always been close to my heart. I want every one of them to have the chance to build the life she chooses.
Immense pride for the entire KIIT family! 🏆 Congratulations to our visionary founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta Sir, on being unanimously elected as the first President of the Indian UniSport Federation (IUSF). A monumental step forward for youth and sports in India! 🇮🇳✨

Very happy to share that 33 faculty members from KIIT Deemed to be University and one from KISS Deemed to be University have been featured in the single-year list of the 2026 Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists database. Eleven of our faculty members are on the career-long list.
My heartiest congratulations to each of them. KISS Deemed to be University is only nine years old. To see a KISS teacher on this list makes me especially happy. I know how much patience and hard work good research takes, and I am proud of all our teachers.
I hope their work inspires my lovable KIITians and KISSians to keep growing.
Yesterday evening was very special as I joined the Ganesh Puja celebration at the Ambani family residence, Antilia, in Mumbai, on the kind invitation of Smt. Nita Ambani Ji.
In the midst of the Puja and so many guests, Nita Ji, Mukesh Ji and Anant Ji personally took time out to receive me and spend time with me. We had a warm interaction and discussed several things close to our hearts.
During the evening, I spent a few minutes interacting with Anant Ambani Ji and found him to be very warm, humble and wonderful, despite the stature he holds.
I have always admired their simplicity, warmth and respect for people. I am very grateful to the entire Ambani family for their love and respect for my work. The evening was special with the darshan and blessings of Ganpati Bappa.

74th Honorary Doctorate
Humbled to receive my 74th Honorary Doctorate from IES, Strasbourg (France), for my contributions to society over the last three decades.
I am deeply grateful to IES, Strasbourg, its Founder, Ms Soula Kyriakou, and its Co-founder, Ms Zinaida Kyriakou, for this honour. It gives me more strength to continue working for society and humanity.
Happy that KIIT has also signed an MoU with IES, Strasbourg, to further strengthen meaningful collaboration and create new opportunities for students and faculty.
On World Bicycle Day, I remember my childhood days when the bicycle was my simple companion. It taught me simplicity, discipline, health and care for nature.
Happy that KIIT and KISS are contributing to cycling through the international-standard Cycling Velodrome, created in honour of Odisha’s first Arjuna Awardee in cycling, Ms Minati Mohapatra.
May our youth take up cycling for good health and a better future.
Heartiest congratulations to Ms Sadhvi Satish Sail of Goa on being crowned Femina Miss India World 2026 at the Grand Finale of KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India 2026, held at KIIT today. My congratulations also to Ms Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra, 1st Runner-Up, and Ms Sree Advaita G of Uniona Territory, 2nd Runner-Up. It was a matter of pride for all of us that this prestigious national event was held in Odisha for the first time, and at the KIIT campus.
For the last few days, the participants and officials had been with us and experienced KIIT, KISS and the rich culture of Odisha closely. Today, seeing this beautiful journey come to its grand conclusion gave me much happiness.
I thank everyone who worked day and night and helped conduct the entire programme smoothly and gracefully. My sincere thanks to The Times Group, Femina, all officials, participants, guests, students, staff, volunteers and the entire KIIT and KISS family. Everything was completed very smoothly, and that gave me happiness.
As Dr. Nita Ambani received an Honorary Doctorate from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, she delivered a powerful message on seva, peace, compassion, and the belief that India can be a global force for unity and healing. A stirring call to the youth to shape not only the future of India, but the conscience of the world.
