Ace people still have relationships with other people, or nobody, but it's not mutually exclusive. Pansexual also includes more people beyond trans, you also have non-binary and anyone else that wishes to not label themselves. Demisexual means you're attracted to people after developing an emotional relationship. Hopefully that helps with any misunderstandings. Even being bi, you might be "bisexual" or "bicurious" which are important distinctions for people. There are tons of sexualities and meanings behind them. Hopefully that helps clear things up :)
