@MoHFW_INDIA must enforce his power to reestablish TEQ 1998 for Medical MSc/PhD teachers in medical colleges with amendment, by recognising the effort of such teachers & giving permanent positions in medical education.

Definitely agree and vocal in sync.
If the successive colleges & medical education system can utilise previous experiences for a particular post then why to call it a new appointment? A new appointment term must be used for freshers entry to the system.
@NMC_IND@MoHFW_INDIA
When people assume a role as a faculty or tutor and become registered on NMC's AEBAS system, it is highly inappropriate to categorize them as a "new appointment" when pursuing re-employment at another college. This tactic is designed to hinder the reemployment of individuals who are at the receiving end of NMC's discriminatory policies.
This practice not only violates ethical standards but may also breach legal regulations. The "new appointment" designation should be reserved for individuals entering medical education for the first time, rather than those already integrated into the system. NMC must promptly address and rectify this misclassification.
NMMTA requests the honorable Minister Shri. @mansukhmandviya ji to take it up with the NMC and end the NMC's misdeed that is seriously affecting the livelihood of many members of our fraternity.

@K_Aarti77 it's a shame that people in position such as you do not do a thorough homework before publishing news in papers. Remember, pen is mightier than sword. So before attacking someone, you should get your facts straight. Plz refer to NMC website and high court orders first.
@DrPendru@K_Aarti77 Without know about the eligibility and background of Medical Msc &PhD courses in India and contributions towards the Medicine in Medical Colleges from so many years. Publishing wrong
news in news paper is not correct. Has to withdraw the statement published immediately.
@DrPendru@K_Aarti77 When various High Courts have acknowledged that PhD holders can serve as examiners, and NMC itself has concurred that such PhDs who were previously recognized as examiners will continue in their roles, how is it that journalists still disseminate these incomplete narratives?
@DrPendru@K_Aarti77 Whatever may be the intention behind the news the reporter has published a baseless report. MSc and PhD faculties have been an integral part of the system for 50 years.Things cannot be seen in a wrong sense.
@K_Aarti77 Please publish any news only after verification of facts. Different HCs have already given their verdict that PhDs can become examiners. NMC also submitted affidavits to various HCs that those PhDs who were earlier considered as examiners will remain as examiners,

@NMMTA_Assn Padma Bhushan,Padma Vibhushan, Ex Vice-Chancellor of University of Madras,Former Professor O&G & first Indian Principal of Madras Med College:Sir A.L.Mudaliar(educationist &Physician).Hats off to NMMTA following Sir A.L.Mudaliar pathway.🙏
@NMMTA_Assn Msc and PhD faculties have been an integral part of the medical education system for 50 years. @NMC_IND purposefully avoiding and forgetting the contributions of biomedical scientists during covid to satisfy the majorities #savemscmedical@narendramodi@MoHFW_INDIA
There are some medical colleges where certain departments, including clinical specialties, have zero faculty, yet they are allowed to carry out the MBBS course.
Many lack the minimum requisite infrastructure and patient load, yet they are permitted to continue the MBBS course.
Hardly any medical college fulfills all of the NMC's minimum guidelines, yet they are permitted to function.
After obtaining NMC's recognition, some colleges reduce faculty positions to maximize profits.
Almost all inspection/assessment events are staged, including ghost faculty and ghost patients. None of these deficiencies, and more, seem to affect the quality of medical education.
However, the presence of merely one or two teachers with recognized MSc/Ph.D. qualifications in the non-clinical subjects is portrayed to negatively affect the quality of medical education, whereas the remaining 70% of medical teachers in non-clinical specialties and 100% in clinical specialties have no obvious role to play.
Therefore, it is obvious that the @NMC_IND is deliberately ignoring all other glaring shortcomings like 'an elephant in the room' and going after minority teachers.
This has nothing to do with the quality of #medicaleducation; it is actually a political movement played by the regulator in cahoots with a section of non-clinical medicos.
NMC's role is to set and uphold standards of medical education, not to strive for filling PG seats or provide job opportunities to doctors. NMC must stop acting as a doctor's welfare association.
Both the union health ministry and the parliamentary committee on health and family welfare have made it clear that 'non-medical' teachers are valuable.
The UG board of NMC must drop its vicious campaign of hatred and discrimination and yield to the government's position.
We request the @MoHFW_INDIA to direct the NMC to withdraw its tainted MSR 2020/2023 regulations as well as TEQ and amend them suitably.
This will be in the best interest of all, and the painful, long, and expensive litigations can end.
@PMOIndia@narendramodi@OfficeOf_MM@mansukhmandviya
Every small effort is countable and measurable in this battle for justice. Scepticism has no place among the Medical MSc/PhD community. @MoHFW_INDIA must come forward with public notice regarding MSR 2023.
MSR 2020 is an equally tainted project & must be scrapped.
@NMMTA_Assn
Regarding medical education, the more something changes, the more it tends to remain the same. I referred to the NMC as old wine in a new bottle. Whatever the NMC was intended to be, it appears to be merely a new body with the old MCI soul. Can we ever outgrow the MCI??
Aadhaar based biometric attendance is extremely risky. There are numerous reports of massive financial frauds due to unlocked aadhaar. Biometric attendance won't work if aadhaar is locked. All must protest. @UIDAI@NMC_IND@ceo_uidai

When the prejudiced @NMC_IND published a discriminatory guideline, preventing teachers with MSc/PhD qualifications from continuing as UG examiners, NMMTA filed its first appeal. The arrogant regulator neither acknowledged nor replied, which is a serious violation of the NMC Act.
Several writ petitions were filed in the High Courts of different states (Rajasthan, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka) with interim relief being granted in some of them.
In one of these cases, the NMC has submitted, 'It is informed that the effect of CBME Guidelines, 2023, will not disturb the old faculty. They will continue to remain eligible for becoming the examiner. The CBME Guidelines, 2023, shall be applicable to new appointments.'
If the NMC had clarified the same in response to NMMTA's appeal, the aggrieved teachers probably wouldn't have approached the courts.
In any case, the impugned guideline is still discriminatory and must be contested.
Meanwhile, it is deeply troubling that while the UG board is freely advancing its discriminatory agenda, the @MoHFW_INDIA remains a silent spectator. With willful violations of the NMC Act, there isn't much sanctity left.
