A team of molecular biologists and chemists developing biotechnological routes for plastic waste degradation and conversion into value-added materials @EU_H2020
All good things come to an end but it has been a great journey 🌍🤓. We would like to thank all of our colleagues for amazing cooperation and great results that come out of it 🤝.
📢📢📢 @BioICEP Final Event is taking place in Belgrade (Serbia) on 16th of May (Hotel Majestic).
🥳 Exciting News! 🥳

Catching up with our partners from TU Clausthal (Germany). After Viktor Udachin and Philipp Moritz held a lecture we used opportunity to show Belgrade’s secrets to our colleagues.
On the 19th of October, our partners from TU Clausthal (Germany) visited colleagues from IMGGE (Serbia) and Viktor Udachin and Philipp Moritz and held a lecture titled: "Atomic and molecular physics at surfaces: analytical methods and current projects from Clautsthal".
They have characterised polymer materials degraded by enzymes and microorganisms, as part of #BioICEP research on establishing processes for the biotechnological degradation of plastic waste streams.
Students from IMGGE, Vukašin Janković and Marija Nenadović visited the Clausthal Center for Materials Technology, The Clausthal University of Technology in the period of 18th June to 17th July 2023.
New paper published by our partners from @chemengntua and @BioICEP_IMGGE
A huge contribution to find new technologies to fight plastic pollution, consisting of a screening of various fungi for their ability to degrade intact polymers.

This year we were diligent 🤓.
In the 2022, we achieved significant results and we hope that 2023. will be equally successful.
The BioICEP_IMGGE team wishes you a lot of success and luck in the New Year 🧑🎄🎄.
Pleased to announce that on Friday (07.10) at 14.15 h @NrJasmina will talk about microbial approaches in the treatment of plastic laboratory waste as invited speaker during the European Society of Veterinary Clinical Pathology congress meeting in Belgrade.
