Itβs #TherapyDogAppreciationDay ππ
It's well proven that animals can reduce the stress of being in a hospital, for patients and staff alike, so at NUH we're delighted to regularly welcome a wonderful team of canine volunteers. How many of them have you met?!π
The Research Department @ASPHFT is running another exciting COVID-19 trial. This study will utilise an barrier antiviral nasal spray called Viraleze. If you are interested in taking part in the study email our team on [email protected]
Please wear masks public transport & indoors in busy spaces & shops. Vaccines great at preventing illness/hospitalisations/deaths in those vaccinated. Less good stopping transmission. But transmission high & increasing. Can avoid Plan B with some actions now https://t.co/LUVKulxXnI
Poor Ben has had no interest :( Please share so we can find his perfect home. He needs a home where he can be with someone all of the time. Ben can live with older children but needs to be the only dog.

Appalling & deeply upsetting. Important this is properly investigated. There is be no place for abuse of any kind - for public figures, advisors, or for anyone including brilliant & selfless CMO who has worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic - https://t.co/i7X1ub2c9Y
I really enjoyed working on the siren clinic. Over 300 participants took the time out from their busy schedules @ASPHFT to take part over the year π
Many thanks to the 45,000 volunteers in SIREN and other COVID-19 studies. Over 1.2 million participants in the UK have taken part in these studies and trials. This has been essential to our ability to understand, prevent and treat COVID in the UK and globally.
