Advanced Higher Biology did some EGG-cellent revision today to round off their final lesson before their exam. Hunting down exam-style questions hidden in coloured eggs around the Science Faculty, they raced to get the most correct answers. Well done to all for your efforts ๐ฐ๐ฅ
Senior students visited Kinross Primary School during their free time on Friday afternoon to run a series of science experiments for the P6 classes. The senior students were great at making the science come alive and be exciting for the younger pupils.
Higher Chemistry were looking at the chemical causations of solubility by trying to colour and flavour chocolate using water based and oil based colours and flavours. Thanks to the Royal Society of Chemistry for financing this activity.

Advanced Higher Biology attended a session at the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh to take on the role of Flu Fighters. Using Avian flu as an example, they covered the structure and function of viruses, then used this to identify which hens had tested positive for Avian flu. ๐๐ฆ ๐งฌ
