@LIGHTANGEL_EX Please tell me the how changing the names for references changes the overall issues with the story
For example, no amount of "localization" will change the Roc filler where he gets stolen
@ChrisField0216@FluentInFinance If we're taking actual inflation numbers into account that 140k I gave you is actually over 200k, which is even worse
If wages kept up with the issues at hand, then inflation wouldn't be seen as that bad
Houses back then were 2-3x your salary, nowadays that number is 3-5x
@ChrisField0216@FluentInFinance The payments on a 10% mortage on a home that used to be 70k in the 80s will cost you less than a mortgage of 5% for the SAME home valued at today's numbers (let's just say double at 140k for now...)
The interest rate problem is anchored to the high market values of the house
@kenoticpurge People like doing the soyjack finger point meme at the references
Gameplay-wise, the DLC is very good
Story-wise, it's one of the worst ones
I think all of Monolith's dlc story expansions are on the weaker end
@OwMySkull@NihilisticNerd@CommentaryNope@KuronoKei_V2 He's saying I brought up the original (NES) so my stance sucks bc I apparently don't know which version is the "original" 🤦
I was obviously saying the original version of Switch Star Fox = 64 due to being a remake of that
But yes, he did post a 64 clip after
@CommentaryNope@KuronoKei_V2 I was obviously doing a comparison between 64 and Switch remake
Just because I used the word original does not mean I meant the first game
That's like me saying the original version of Ocarina of Time & your head goes to NES Zelda lol
@CommentaryNope@KuronoKei_V2 This isn't an excuse when the original version of this game (same audience) out classes it in almost every way
In fact, your argument falls flat bc when 64 came out, it was much more aligned to kids since gaming wasn't as mainstream as it is nowadays
