@KarleyWoods It IS scary. I got diagnosed with COVID while in hospital. I started coughing the morning after I was admitted Apr 18, not tested until Sat Apr 23. Where was I exposed? Then was in isolation till May 4. I still have a post-COVID cough and they gave ME the antiviral Remdesivir.

Finally got out of hospital again. 26 days on the first stay, 6 days at home, back in again for another 32 days. I have zero strength and am using walkers in the house. My heart is now so weak that the drs basically came and gave me four ways to die. That bluntly too.

I had three crashes caused by medication… let’s say tweaks… serious enough to end up in CCU. Each time I ended up with bed rest. Weaker and weaker. And hospital food is flop - stopped eating the last two weeks, lived on Glucerna and power bars. Lost 9 kg

@KarleyWoods Im ok with tired. If I could only stop having a dizzy spell every day at about 1:30 pm (weird right?) I’d progress a bit faster. Clinic thinks maybe BP, but I need a new machine. Tomorrow.

My heart ablation, or perhaps weakness from 4 weeks in hospital, is giving me daily dizzy spells. Destroys my nerves too. Most of the spells midday, so tomorrow we institute early afternoon nap time. Today I started a med that is supposed to help me and my heart: Clonazepam.

@KarleyWoods Thanks for sharing that. I just started last night so time will tell. If I could just get the dizzy spells - panic attack cycle to go away, I’ll feel “normal” more quickly.

@KarleyWoods For about 5 days, anything I drank tasted metallic and therefore awful. Sense of taste is back but this stupid cough won’t go away!

@KarleyWoods And it’s not a nice feeling at all. Glad you’re improving! My procedure this week hurt so much they had me on O2 overnight because it hurt to breathe. I should get to go home tomorrow. I’ve been here since Apr 18. 🙄

@KarleyWoods My empathy. I was already n hospital for my heart, started coughing Apr 19. They didn’t test me til Apr 23. I was positive. But got Remdesivir, very likely because of being IN hospital. Isolated til May 4. Still have a cough, but not much else. I had a red spot in my left eye.

Second ablation coming on the 11th. Did I mention? Just for kicks, I also tested positive for COVID on my 4th day in hospital. Vaxxed, it’s been a cough, bit of sinus congestion, and a red patch in my left eye. Mostly improved, plus I got Remdesivir in CCU.

An ablation on my heart will (maybe) take place this coming Wednesday. The hope is that it will stop some of my arrhythmia issues. My device shocked my this week, and I learned that it still hurts. And it still scares the hell out of me,
