@Flickanator101 @EvolutionVU @Symbionticism @VUBasicSciences @VUMCgenetics Yes it is incredibly helpful and scientists who work on improving the way we classify life have my deepest respect. In quite some cases (e.g. microbial life, regional subpopulations) it just might help to keep in mind that the concept of distinct species does not necessarily fit.
