No one blows up when they follow their plan.
They blow up during the exception: "Just this once," with a good reason attached.
Your brain remembers that the exception felt fine and maybe even worked. So the next one comes more easily.
Rules aren't broken in one moment. They erode through justified exceptions.
Most traders judge a system based on how the last five trades went. Five trades is noise. However, your brain treats recent pain as truth, so you think the system "stopped working" right before it recovered. You didn't test the strategy. You tested your tolerance for discomfort.
If you didn't agree that there's cycles where generational wealth is made via trading.. and not every month or every year is a prime opportunity to be active... I don't want to hear about you struggling in consolidating markets.
Your need to make money all the time is the reason you aren't making progress.
Discovery call with one of my closest trader friends. Found some gaps in his system that I could potentially help with (Top-Down, Entry Model, Trade Management and such..). This is the goal, tbh - being able to share your knowledge and experience in the market.

That was quick. Once we got the CPI lows taken out yesterday, I'm looking for the next leg of this bullish expansion.
Another one! GU ✅️
Onto the next!!
Learning how price moves and where opportunities lie is one thing.
Training your mind to stay calm and execute fearlessly in every situation is another entirely.
You need both skills to make it in this business.
Every day you break your trading rules
Is an extra day where you:
•Won’t be profitable
•Won’t be living the life of your dream
•Won’t be able to provide a good life for your family
So how about you just stop breaking your rules and LOCK IN bro
The snowball effect in trading is crazy
It doesn’t matter how small your capital is right now
As long as you can average anywhere from 2-10% a month without over-leveraging
Then you’ll be able to build up your prop firm capital and personal trading account pretty fast
Those $100 trades will turn into $1,000 trades, and eventually $10,000 trades
Stop worrying about your capital and focus on your strategy, risk management and discipline
Once you have those things, the rest will fall into place
The reason you keep checking the chart isn't for information.
You already have the information.
It's the illusion that watching gives you control.
It doesn't.
It just feeds the part of you that can't tolerate uncertainty.
