Reminder: the travel grant application deadline to attend #biocuration2023 is in two weeks! Please visit https://t.co/RSS2gqvx9e for details and requirements.
@choldgraf The #Manubot python package can create bibliographic metadata or rendered references (via @csl_styles) for any DOI, PubMed ID, ISBN, URL, or any of thousands of other @bioregistry CURIEs. Retrieves metadata from many places including @zotero translators. https://t.co/mtoCDst1zj
Add the following to the top of your LaTeX to make nice Bioregistry-supported references:
\newcommand{\curie}[2]{\texttt{\href{https://t.co/fIPMp065SF}{{#1:#2}}}}
(over)use it like:
\curie{mesh}{C120793}
Thanks to @harry_caufield for submitting a new prefix request for the MOSAiC Ontology!
It's available at https://t.co/p0DImM6nmA
CC @brycem maybe you can help make this record even more rich.
@sanyabt11 Wow, that's amazing! If there were any URIs that didn't get converted, we'd be happy to work with you to add more prefixes to fill in the rest :)
Thanks @chrismungall for submitting a new prefix for @uniprot's Association-Rule-Based Annotator (ARBA) namespace 🧬

An issue about the regex for DOIs was posted by @wouter99999 on the @IdentifiersOrg issue tracker (https://t.co/MjHSihB8qX)
Will be interesting to see if the https://t.co/SjWJ10NmuM team will address it, in the mean time we've already got a fix at https://t.co/qDNsz2doMO
You can curate a collection of prefixes in the Bioregistry for https://t.co/G3zHuRCSMD that auto-generate prefix maps, SHACL files, and more. two examples:
- @sparontologies resources: https://t.co/WOa8Od3und
- semantic web prefixes: https://t.co/2HlF4anuFx
@cdsouthan @cthoyt Yes, no other registry (https://t.co/SjWJ10NUkk, N2T, et.) has a totally open data, open code, open governance model. Bioregistry can just pull from them and align any efforts they make independently, but Bioregistry is the sustainable way to move forwards.
ERM is registered in the Bioregistry at https://t.co/Kas6jfzFJO - this is the most sustainable way for potential users to get high quality metadata about this resource 🚀

Do you reference OMIM entries or OMIM phenotypic series in your data, metadata, database, etc.?

From 🍇 V 0.1.19, we integrated @bioregistry ❤️ in the graph retrieval, which includes all of the @OBOFoundry#KnowledgeGraph made available by @harry_caufield's KGOBO!
🚄 Just enable the flag, and you are set to go!
happy to see more resources using Bioregistry to move towards more standardized, reusable semantics! Thanks @LucaCappellett6 for the awesome implementation
