At the on-going #WorldHealthSummit, Dr Shachi Adyanthaya, Senior Manager, Child Health & Development at CIFF, participated in a panel co-hosted by CIFF and @JhpiegoIndia focussing on how digital innovations are improving maternal healthcare. For example, frontline workers being equipped with digital tools for early identification of pregnancy-related complications for prompt treatment.

The discussion also outlined the need to develop tailored technological solutions to address specific public health challenges as opposed to using existing tools as a one-size-fits-all approach. The speakers agreed that one of the biggest advantages of leveraging technology is being able to use real-time insights for decision-making.
