@ak_prc_dprk@Juchepo1121 Soon friends and i would like to make a youtube channel with DPRK songs for karaoke, lyrics written in Korean and Latin. Maybe we should add Japanese too?
Two new 1st of May pickups for my collection.
Another pack of smokes, "Geonseol" - construction. I'm a big fan of their graphic design.
And a little WPK badge, featuring the year of the NKBB's founding.
Bit late, but happy May Day!
@jonjo2021559@query70@GuangdongPanda@zhao_dashuai Lol, I'm not even Chinese. Go on and eat your pad Thai, you are everything you complain about with Muslims in Europe - don't learn the language, don't adopt or know the culture, probably don't even work. The only difference is that you have white skin. Waste of life and space
@query70@jonjo2021559@GuangdongPanda@zhao_dashuai You are arguing with an Irish sexpat that "fled the west", and settled in Thailand because it's cheap so his little pot of savings can last him longer.
He doesn't know Thai and the closest he'll get to the culture is trying street food when he feels adventurous.
Waste of time
@ballinist@KeanuNazari It's mostly occupied by the KFA, which I'm not too fond of as an organization but know has many kind and welcoming members. Besides that, Europe has many old solidarity clubs, like in France, Czechia, and Scandinavia
@ballinist@KeanuNazari Either find local clubs that agitate for the DPRK (not that there are many) and ask them to bring some back, go yourself, or try Chinese border towns.
I should get more, both irls and urls seem pretty interested in them
@Banana8The@KeanuNazari No. You can get such badges through solidarity work but they aren't given out willy nilly. Sometimes you can find them for sale online, but most are copies from China. They do have a "pin culture" like many socialist countries, these are popular tourist pins
@saintjohn69420@KeanuNazari Very interesting. I should see if I can convince my contacts to show me their tobacco industry sometime. They tend to like showing off their industry, so maybe I could nudge them in that direction even if it's just the packaging factory
@WormWoodMotorCO@KeanuNazari I haven't tried lucky strike so can't say. They're click cigs, slightly fruity a bit bubblegum ish taste, but can't exactly put my finger on it. Not strongly flavoured, but pleasantly mellow and very smooth. Good after a nice meal or as a morning cig
@squidthekid234@KeanuNazari Yea, they enjoyed it. The DPRK used to have a tourism industry, especially aimed at the Chinese. But they shut down during covid, recently had small events where they let in foreigners again but no complete reopening. As of now, it's only open to Russian tourists
@FracPapiTX@KeanuNazari What else am i supposed to drink during the friday study session? Little wine, little beer, friendly conversation, good bit of fun
@saintjohn69420@KeanuNazari Wish these was more known about the industry, I figure they grow their own? They're very smooth and mellow, was quite surprised of the quality (even though they're higher up brands)
