Visiting from out of town. Decided to visit @314sports_cards today, thanks to @DealinTheCards podcast. Pulled an autographed McGreevy rookie card from a box. ‘Twas a good day 😊
@Omni_Dad1@RichardLafzbub@MattPauleyOnAir Sometimes that translates to a successful, effective manager and sometimes it doesn’t. Being a future HoF catcher does NOT guarantee success as a manager. It’s your prospective opinion and maybe we will find out one day. Maybe we won’t. I’m not “side-stepping” anything. 😂
@Omni_Dad1@RichardLafzbub@MattPauleyOnAir And I get it, you believe with every fiber of your being that Yadi will be the best MLB manager on the planet and that’s cool. Good thing for you is that no one today can prove you right or wrong.
@Omni_Dad1@RichardLafzbub@MattPauleyOnAir I’m not trying to argue just for the sake of it. However, I’m not going to anoint Yadi as an historically successful manager, when his MLB record is 0-0. It’s possible he could excel, should he try, or he could flop. Thing is…we have no idea.
@Omni_Dad1@RichardLafzbub@MattPauleyOnAir ….again, as a player. You’re arguing as if he has a lengthy, proven managerial record. He does not. Great player does not always translate to great manager. But to you, I’m the dumbass for not seeing how obviously great and dominant he “would” be.
@teambigv@MattPauleyOnAir Why do fans want to extend a player that’s yet to play a big league inning and hire a manager that’s yet to manage a single mlb game. Sometimes fans are idiots.
