Simulation: Sir, we've run the simulation a hundred times and I've never seen anything like it. We give the program the perfect conditions and one hundred percent of the time it dies before reaching stage two. I don't know what we're missing but if it can be coded, we'll find it.
The word of the day is patient: "One must be patient on the operating table, waiting for the anesthetic, waiting for the knife, waiting for fixed or failure. Maybe the next time you open your eyes the world will be new and clear, or perhaps the doc popped your conjunctiva."
@MBondurantArt Yeah, I'm not a big fan of it and expect everything I write will go unread. It takes a very long time to build any sort of audience, let alone one who will talk to you.
"'You see, we got different definitions of murder, friend. You think it's taking a life. I think it's taking an innocent life, you know? And that guy, yeah, glassy eyed in the puddle? He wasn't innocent. I'm not a murderer, friend. I saved you life.'"
The word of the day is ominous: "Wind shook the windows and screamed down the chimney. It gave a very ominous air to an already spooky place. I lived in the cold spots, and played piano on the broken strings. I loved it."
Usurp: Any sort of self-control was usurped by the music. It washed over her, pushing to move her feet and sway her hips. Whatever fell from her lips weren't the lyrics, but they were close enough, and that was enough. The music didn't care so long as she loved it.
Important: "The littlest things matter, you know? It means something to someone when you remember their favorite flavor of ice cream or play a song they like. It's important because it makes them feel important. And then, you can get what you want. Easy, and all for just a pint."
The word of the day is indecisive: "The problem with having forty-one fresh flavors every day was that I could only fit one in my cup. They probably thought me so indecisive, leaving condensation on the multi-colored glass case and holding half a dozen tiny pink spoons."
@StoryTi43246040 This was the first one I caught live and I had fun! At the end, I mentioned a story about an unlucky train. Turns out, that wasn't actually written by Doyle. It was done in 2010 exclusively for Benedict Cumberbatch to read, it seems. Which is a shame because it was fun.
