I think when we come out of this, one of the lessons we are learning as a country is that we have to invest more public health. It's not a Democrat problem, it's not a Republican problem.
I see so many people saying “I finally have the time to read, and bake, and think, and love on my kids like I haven’t done in years,” and maybe the way our whole culture is centered around work and the acquisition of wealth was the problem.
I’m going to give away $30,000 to 1 random person who retweets this tweet AND follows Twitter Philanthropist @Pulte and Me!! (If you don’t follow us, we can’t DM you the money) Will show proof! Much love
I love you all. I know that this is a hard time and I’m worried about my anxious bunnies. We’ve got this. We’ve been practicing our whole lives. Stay home, beneath cozy blankets, deep breaths, hot tea, limited news channels, more books and movies and gentleness. Be the calm.
We've been told over and over that Medicare for All is "too radical."
I think it's radical to have a health care system that leaves 87 million people uninsured or underinsured.
I think it's radical that people can't afford to see a doctor during a pandemic.
Feeling for all the authors launching books this week.... we try to plan for everything but a global pandemic is a toughie. Post your books here. I’m ordering all of them. All. We’ll get through this together. Respect and Love.
