@RareBirdAlertUK An exciting Bird Count hailed some rare species on 19 Feb across Jaipur's landscape (India). Six TWSI Volunteers ticked off 200+ species, follow up of 26th Indian Birding Fair (10-11 Feb), led by Govind Yadav, a teacher-cum-birder. This Little Cormorant hints at fresh exploits.

How to conserve Raptors, was discussed at 26th Indian Birding Fair (Man Sagar lake, Jaipur) at sessions for students-teachers-citizens, staged by Tourism & Wildlife Society of India, a citizens' initiative aimed at conserving this heritage lake which also started happening...

Prizes were awarded to winning participants for the 25th @IndianBirdingFair. @RukmaniBirla School was top placed, @ChildrenAcademy second, @SVPublic School and @TPS School receiving succeeding honours. Congratulations to students-teachers combination for nature conservation.

@ChildrenAcademy @svpublic @TPS The 26th Indian Birding Fair (Jaipur, India) was dedicated to Raptors. About 1,900 students-teachers and citizens interacted on how to conserve such birds of prey. Sonika Kushwaha and Govind Tiwari led the choir. Forest Department and WWF-India supported it; an outstanding event.
