@mntmpl Yet, I look at "peer-reviewed" 60s & 70s encylopaedias, World Book & Brittania, which I was encouraged to use, & I now see how pro-colonial, Euro-centric, & anti-indigenous they both were. We know the shortcomings of Wikipaedia; we didn't understand that of the those other 2.

@MaryKostakidis The only PMs who have looked to SE Asia were Whitlam, Keating, & Rudd(spoke at diplomatic level Mandarin), all sacked by cadres of Washington, London or those returning us to the days of the Immigration Restriction Act 1901. We are near SE Asia, not Plymouth or the Baja Penisula.

ABC's funding has been cut so much that it doesn't have foreign bureaus staffed with ABC journalists. Instead, it gets material from agencies controlled by Murdoch, Bazos, & Disney. ABC spins what these agencies want, even if it is opposite of what happened.

Not pleasant if you live alongside arterial roads, but we have PSPs(principal shared paths)on all the train reserves & most of the Freeway reserves. Unlike the 401 none of our city's highways have unfortunately succumbed to induced demand,... yet.
