@A_dmg04 @BungieHelp player count numbers will prove this as a false statement (lets see if API being down kills player counts like I assume).. last time API was down for a weekend was during the end of a season when counts were already low (now u taking it down for twice as long at start of season)

@A_dmg04 was not the "best option".. disabling the exotic for a week would stop players from accessing the "new" weekly content in the exotic mission (which gets time gated every week anyway).. meanwhile the game becomes unenjoyable/unplayable without tools like DIM/LFG/ companion app

@J_Waltermelon @BungieHelp and out of ur 2000 hours of gameplay.. you've prob spent atleast 500 hours flying to and from tower to do simple shit the API allowed (gun transfer, LFG, bounties)... harder to keep what u need on you when you have 3 character u run

@BungieHelp u chose to turn off the API instead of just disabling the exotic... smart choice if u want to see ur player count drop to their lowest numbers during the beginning of the season (instead of the usually dropdown as season moves on).. game is unplayable without DIM or LFG
