Every book that I have read by @lawrenceosborne is stimulating and very worthwhile. I enjoy the flawed loner characters and faraway settings and the weaving of clothes and drinks into the narratives, as clues to uncover social standing and character of the personalities.
@SISJAC_UK What a shame that I missed this. I would be so interested in future lectures that you share online! Thank you. (I found you through the Japanese Ambassador to the UK)
@ninifettuccine@RoverDotCom They won't actually take them to heart. They have paid UX professionals who should already be identifying the issues that have been left unattended for years. .. Do you really want to provide free labour that then gets ignored?
@RoverDotCom@1silverbluerose You should just include a screenshot of the user interface. People need better responses that they can take action on. Not a goose chase around customer support.
@mayukh_panja I understand your thoughts so well. I have lived outside of Germany for more years than I grew up in Germany (I am German), I also struggle with the decision if I should apply for citizenship where I now am. I understand your conscientious perspective & I also understand that…
@RychardeM@HenMazzig Why aren’t you calling for peace? Compassion? A middle way? Compromise? Diplomacy? Reason? Why is it so easy for you to be so quick to dismiss one side but so ready to believe another? Do you know either personally? Or is it prejudice? We all have it. But the Other is human, too.
@RychardeM@HenMazzig You should never step so low as to deny the experience of a former hostage. What has been debunked? He wasn’t a hostage? He didn’t fear for his life? He wasn’t mistreated? Why is it necessary to hate a man who was held hostage? Because of his passport? Because of his identity?
Was wollen Sie uns mit diesem Text-Krümel sagen?
