For those who don’t know:
On December 3, 2025, Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old university student in Southampton, England, was stabbed multiple times while walking home after a night out.
When police arrived, the attacker told them Henry was the aggressor and had racially abused him. Officers believed the attacker’s account.
Henry was lying on the ground bleeding from stab wounds to his chest and legs. He told officers directly: “I’ve been stabbed. I can’t breathe.”
An officer responded: “I don’t think so, mate.” And handcuffed him.
Henry bled to death on the street. The handcuffs were only removed once he lost consciousness.
The attacker, Vickrum Digwa, was later convicted of murder. His mother was also convicted for hiding the murder weapon.
No officers have been suspended. The bodycam footage has still not been released to the public. Hampshire Police issued an apology but continue to withhold the footage.
