President Bola Ahmad Tinubu has approved the appointment of Alh. Kabir Ibrahim Mashi (Kaigaman Katsina) as the Federal Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Badamasi Lawal Charanchi as CEO of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA). Dr. Lawal holds a doctorate degree in education, and he is the present commissioner of Local Government in Katsina State.
President Bola Tinubu has appointed ex-Kastina State Governor, Aminu Masari, as the new Chairman of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
Project Update: The construction of the First-ever Katsina Medical Imaging Centre is currently ongoing at General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital, Batagarawa, Katsina State by the administration of Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.
The Katsina State government is initiating the installation of a solar power grid at the Government House and Katsina General Hospital. This move aims to minimize the cost of governance and promote the adoption of sustainable, environmentally friendly energy solutions.

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, paid an official visit to Katsina where he formally commissioned the 16-bed state-of-the-art Dialysis Centre.
The Dialysis Centre was successfully constructed by @dikko_radda's administration and is situated at the General Amadi Rimi Specialist Hospital, Katsina.
The construction and equipping of this facility were completed within an impressive nine-month period. The primary goal of this new Dialysis Centre is to significantly improve the accessibility and affordability of kidney treatment for patients in the state, making critical healthcare services more readily available to those in need.
Breaking: Katsina State Emerges Winner of Best State Health Insurance Agency Award 2024
The Katsina State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KTSCHMA) has been awarded the prestigious title of "Best State Health Insurance Agency of the Year 2024" at the National Healthcare Excellence Awards held in Lagos. This marks the second consecutive win by Katsina State, following the previous triumph in 2022.
Katsina State was nominated alongside other notable states including Lagos, Adamawa, Kano, and Anambra. Katsina State's emergence as the winner is a testament to the uninterrupted commitment of the Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON led administration to the health and well-being of citizens.
This recognition is a direct result of the visionary leadership and strategic investments in healthcare by Governor Radda. Under his guidance, KTSCHMA has implemented innovative approaches, fostered strategic partnerships, and worked tirelessly to improve healthcare outcomes, access, and affordability for the good people of Katsina

Katsina, UNDP To Host Northwest Peace, Security Summit
The Northwest Governors Forum in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme ( UNDP) @UNDPNigeria will host the North West peace and security summit in Katsina State.
The summit has as its theme “ Regional Cooperation for Securing Lives and Livelihoods in Northwest Nigeria”
His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will serve as a Keynote speaker at the all-important event.
The northwest geo-political zone which had been crippled with growing insecurity and banditry attacks has seven states of Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Jigawa.
All the seven Northwest Governors are expected to attend the summit where ideas and valuable insights are expected to be rigorously discussed to provide lasting solutions to issues affecting the region.
The two-day event will take place from Monday, 24th June to Tuesday, 25th June 2024 at the Katsina State Government House, Katsina.

The enormity of the task ahead of us is very clear today as it was back in August.. Yes we’re able to deploy a new system today to digitize our record but the Boss HE @dikko_radda & I understands that this milestone is just the beginning, not the end!

Governor Radda Releases N120M Allowances for Medical Students in Katsina State
The Katsina State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency Malam Dikko Umaru Radda Phd has released the sum of over N120 Million Naira for the 2nd payment of Medical Students' Allowances for the year 2023.
This was disclosed by the General Manager Hospital Services Management Board Dr. Sabi'u Liadi in his office.
The payment will be made to 477 Medical Students studying at home and abroad as their Allowances. Dr. Sabi'u Liadi urged the students to complement the Governor's effort by studying hard. He assured that all their entitlements will be paid to them, despite the challenges in the state.
The General Manager Commended the Government's effort for creating an enabling environment to improve Health Care Delivery across the State.
Earlier, I attended the 2nd Bi-Annual Review Meeting of GAVI/PHC Memorandum of Understanding at Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
The meeting was aimed at strengthening the Primary Health Care in Nigeria.
The Deputy Governor of Katsina State Honorable Faruk Lawal Jobe attended the annual United Nations Development Programme UNDP meeting at the Country Headquarters in Abuja.
The Meeting was aimed at Climate, Peace & Security Approach to Conflict Prevention.
The Meeting, is an annual event meant to consult the relevant critical stakeholders.
Yesterday, I proudly led my colleagues, the Northwest Governors to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, for a meeting with the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Dr. Akinwumi Adesina on utilizing the special agro-industrialization programme.
In a bid to harness the potential of the Special Agro-Industrialisation Programme, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has led 6 other Northwest Governors to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire to explore the opportunities offered by the Agro-Industrial Processing Zones programme.
