বাঁকুড়ার খাতড়ায় দেদুয়া ব্রিজ মোড়ে অবস্থিত চুয়াড় বিদ্রোহের অন্যতম নায়ক, স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামী শহিদ রঘুনাথ মাহাত'র মূর্তি ভাঙচুর ও বিকৃত করার জঘন্য ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
এমনিতেই এই সরকারের আমলে জনজাতি ও মূলবাসী সমাজ তাঁদের জল, জমি, জঙ্গলের অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত, শোষিত ও লাঞ্ছিত। তার ওপর এই ধরনের ন্যাক্কারজনক ঘটনা তাঁদের ভাবাবেগের ওপর সরাসরি আঘাত।
রাজ্যে এর আগেও দেবদেবীর মূর্তি, মন্দির ও বাংলার মনীষীদের মূর্তি ভাঙচুরের একের পর এক ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এবার ক্রান্তিবীর শহিদ রঘুনাথ মাহাত'র মূর্তি ভাঙচুর সেই লজ্জাজনক তালিকায় নতুন সংযোজন।

আমি এই ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছি। প্রশাসনের কাছে দাবি জানাচ্ছি অবিলম্বে দোষীদের চিহ্নিত করে কঠোরতম আইনি ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করতে হবে এবং দোষীদের দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারি কর্মচারিদের জন্য বড় ঘোষণা করলেন সম্মানীয় কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী শ্রী অমিত শাহ মহাশয়।

উনি প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন যে, আগামী মে মাসে যখন ভারতীয় জনতা পার্টি পশ্চিমবঙ্গে সরকার গঠন করবে, তখন প্রথম ৪৫ দিনের মধ্যেই রাজ্যে সপ্তম বেতন কমিশন বাস্তবায়িত করা হবে।

১৫ বছর ধরে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রাজ্যে সঠিক বেতন কমিশন বাস্তবায়ন করেননি। সুপ্রিম কোর্টের নির্দেশ সত্ত্বেও সরকারি কর্মীরা তাঁদের ন্যায্য পাওনা বকেয়া মহার্ঘ ভাতা (DA) থেকে বঞ্চিত রয়েছেন।
যেখানে দেশের মধ্যে সর্বত্র রাজ্য সরকারি কর্মচারিরা সপ্তম বেতন কমিশন অনুযায়ী বেতন পেয়ে থাকেন ও অষ্টম পে কমিশন শীঘ্রই লাগু হওয়ার পথে, সেখানে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারি কর্মচারিদের ভাগ্যে এখনো ষষ্ঠ বেতন কমিশনের বেতন জোটে, কবে তা বাড়বে কেউ বলতে তো দূর কল্পনাও করতে পারে না।

বিজেপি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সরকারি কর্মীদের মর্যাদা ও আর্থিক ন্যায়বিচারের পক্ষে। আমরা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ রাজ্যের লক্ষ লক্ষ কর্মী ও পেনশনভোগীদের বৈধ অধিকার অগ্রাধিকারের ভিত্তিতে প্রদান করবো।

মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় মহাশয়া, গতকাল বিধানসভায় আপনি দিঘার জগন্নাথ 'মন্দির' নিয়ে আমাকে চ্যালেঞ্জ ছুঁড়েছেন ও আমার "বুকের পাটা" সংক্রান্ত মন্তব্য করার ঔদ্ধত্য দেখিয়েছেন।

যেহেতু আপনি দাবি করছেন যে, সনাতন ধর্মের অন্যতম পীঠস্থান; পুরীর জগন্নাথ ধামের অনুকরণ করে 'মন্দির' নির্মাণ করছেন, দিঘায় তীর্থক্ষেত্র স্থাপন করার উদ্দেশ্যে, তাই আমি আপনাকে পাল্টা চ্যালেঞ্জ জানাচ্ছি, যদি আপনার "বুকের পাটা" রয়েছে, তাহলে:-

১) আজই নির্দেশ দিন যে, সরকারী অর্থ ব্যয় করে, সরকারি সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী সমস্ত সরকারি নথিতে "জগন্নাথ ধাম সংস্কৃতি কেন্দ্র" শব্দবন্ধটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, তা বদলে "শ্রীশ্রী জগন্নাথ মন্দির" করে দেওয়া হোক। WBHIDCO এর টেন্ডার ও ওয়ার্ক অর্ডারের নথি, যা আমি সংযুক্ত করেছি, সেখানে যেনো এই পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করা যায়।

২) পুরীর শ্রীশ্রী জগন্নাথ মন্দিরে হিন্দু ব্যতীত আর কোনও অন্য ধর্মাবলম্বী মানুষজনের প্রবেশাধিকার নেই। মন্দিরের সিংহদ্বারের কাছে পাথরের ফলকে পাঁচটি ভাষায় (হিন্দি, ওড়িয়া, বাংলা, ইংরেজি এবং উর্দু) স্পষ্ট ভাবে প্রবেশ সংক্রান্ত নির্দেশনাবলী লেখা রয়েছে। ছবিটি এই পোস্টের সাথে সংযুক্ত করলাম।

আপনিও নির্দেশ দিন উৎকলের শ্রীক্ষেত্র; পুরীর জগন্নাথ ধামের মতোই দিঘাতেও 'মন্দিরের' প্রধান দ্বারের পাশে ফলক লাগানো থাকবে যে "হিন্দু ব্যতীত অন্য কোনও ধর্মাবলম্বী মানুষজনের প্রবেশাধিকার নিষেধ।"

আপনি আমার "বুকের পাটা" নিয়ে মন্তব্য করেছেন, তাই আপনার জ্ঞাতার্থে আর একবার স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে চাই যে, আপনি যখন ২০২১ সালে নন্দীগ্রামে নির্বাচনে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করতে এসেছিলেন, তখন "বুকের পাটা" ছিল বলেই ১৯৫৬ ভোটে আপনাকে হারিয়েছিলাম।
চ্যালেঞ্জ গ্রহণ করুন ও এই দুটি কাজ করে দেখান, তবে বুঝবো যে আপনার "বুকের পাটা" আছে এবং চাপে পড়ে 'বক ধার্মিক' সাজছেন না।
