It displays extremely poor judgment for anyone aspiring to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to call the incumbent President casually by his first name when addressing him. Moreso when referring to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in a statement released to the public.

If you cannot find it in yourself to respect the Number One citizen of the country, then at least show deference to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by giving reverence to the office of the President. An individual who does not show esteem for an office they seek to occupy shows, by their very actions, that they are not fit for that office.

I urge all Nigerians to learn decorum from His Majesty, King Charles III, who, despite his high office as Head of the Commonwealth, chose to refer to our President as His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

You cannot be a loyal citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without demonstrating regard for the Head of State of the Republic.

If I pity Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, make I bend. Those of you that said he was untouchable before he was picked, where are you guys now? If the government of Nigeria wants to deal with you, you go collect. If El-Rufai hadn't left APC, all these things wouldn't have happened to him.

PS: According to reports on the ICPC investigation, the commission allegedly traced six properties in Cairo/New Cairo to Nasir El-Rufai: three villas and several apartments. The reported purchases were said to have occurred between 2021 and 2023, while he was the governor of Kaduna State. He was detained due to allegations of corruption, abuse of office, money laundering, and separate cybercrime charges related to remarks made on television.
