I spent my 20s struggling. When I say struggling, I mean struggling. I saw every side of it. And one thing I’ve realized is that you have to make a decision yourself for when you want to stop struggling. If you don’t consciously make it, you will never escape the struggle.
I don’t like asking people for things no matter how close we are, so it’s always such a breath of fresh air when someone is thoughtful enough to just consider me without me having to ask.
One thing I cannot tolerate at this grown age is people who refuse to understand cause and effect. Your actions produced this outcome. Why are you shocked by the consequences of something you deliberately set in motion, then standing there playing victim?
