No ASEAN state should ever trust China.
It deliberately harms vessels and unabashedly denies its wrongdoings.
Indonesia should not extend a hand of friendship towards China. China will stab in the back.
PMA issue?
Totoo, marami sa gobyerno ang nakakalimot sa kanilang trabaho, just like you.
I fully support Secretary Gilbert Teodoro’s call!
Our position on the West Philippine Sea is not a mere policy preference — it is law: the Philippine Maritime Zones Act, Administrative Order 29 of 2012, and the nautical charts formally deposited by the DFA with the UN, all anchored on UNCLOS and the 2016 Arbitral Award.
Every public official swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and our laws. Siding with a foreign power's claims against our own statutes is a repudiation of that oath. The remedies are clear: stand by the country's position, resign, or question the law before the appropriate court.
And the call is precise — it targets “pro-China” officials, not critics of policy. Debating how we assert our rights is healthy; advocating a foreign claimant's position against your own country's legislated maritime zones is not. If that is where you stand, the honorable course is to leave public office.
China wants the world to urge Japan to "abandon remilitarisation" & intention to "process" nuclear weapon.
How can China be so hypocrite?
Japan doesn't pose any threat to the world.
For the sake of world peace China must abandon militarisation & reckless nuclear proliferation.
The Philippines does not ask permission — and does not need permission — to operate within its own exclusive economic zone.
Ayungin Shoal is a low-tide elevation within the Philippine EEZ and continental shelf, as conclusively ruled by the 2016 Arbitral Award. BRP Sierra Madre is a commissioned Philippine Navy vessel lawfully stationed there. There is nothing “illegal” about a sovereign state’s presence in its own maritime zones — only about a foreign coast guard operating 600 nautical miles from its nearest coast.
Let us also be clear about what China calls “humanitarian”: the personnel evacuated by the Philippine Coast Guard were injured because a China Coast Guard crew member struck a Filipino sailor on the head with a wooden baton during an illegal, coercive, aggressive, and deceptive intrusion within 20 yards of LS57. China did not “permit” a medical evacuation. China caused the need for one.
⚠️ INC says selective justice. But no one forced Marcoleta to write zero donors in his SOCE.
He was called out. He defended himself.
But no one forced him to admit he had secret donors on TV.
To escape an election offense, he opened the door to plunder.
Sya may kasalanan! 😂
