7 days. Valid government ID submitted. Appeal rejected for "lack of legitimate identification." No explanation. No opportunity to provide additional documents. Case closed.
Expected better from @LinkedIn
@LinkedIn@LinkedInHelp kindly request a manual review of my submitted documents and clarification regarding the reason for rejection. If any additional information is required to verify my identity and restore access to my account, let me know

I support identity verification when necessary. What I don't understand is why a user who has complied with every request, submitted multiple government-issued IDs, and patiently waited through a lengthy process is left with no clear answer
I've always expected better from a platform of this scale. Strong security is important, but security without transparency becomes frustration. Verification without explanation and Support without meaningful communication feels less like support and more like an automated wall.
This isn't just about access to a social media profile. LinkedIn is a professional platform that many students, job seekers, interns, and working professionals rely on for networking, opportunities, and maintaining their professional presence.
What makes this especially frustrating is the complete lack of transparency. If a document doesn't meet requirements, explain why. If there is a mismatch, identify it. Instead, users are expected to repeatedly provide sensitive personal documents and then accept a final rejection
Despite all of that, I received a rejection citing a "lack of legitimate identification" without any meaningful explanation of what was wrong with the documents, what requirement wasn't met, or what additional information could resolve the issue.
I submitted my PAN card. I submitted my Aadhaar card. I provided front and back images. I followed the instructions given by support. I responded promptly whenever additional information was requested.
For over 7 days, I've been stuck in an endless loop of identity verification requests, support tickets, and generic responses. I provided government-issued identification, multiple documents, clear images, and all the information required to prove that I am owner of my account
