Is TapeOut a project or ecosystem?
Why is this Hackathon a real experiment in getting the TapeOut Builder ecosystem running?
More builders will give the answers
@Yourpop8 For something that could change how computation is built, owned and used on-chain, do you really think a $13M market cap is expensive?
I don’t.
If TapeOut becomes the foundation for on-chain machines and DeWEB, $BEM is only at the beginning. 🔥
Yes — I believe $BEM still has enormous room to grow from a $13M market cap.
$BEM is the economic engine of TapeOut, a system that turns tokenized transistors into verifiable circuits, miners, on-chain containers and real DeWEB applications.
This is bigger than another token narrative. TapeOut represents a new direction: blockchain evolving from simply storing and trading assets to owning, manufacturing and using computation itself.
NAND and LATCH are the raw materials. Circuits are the machines. Proof of Design rewards innovation. DeWEB brings real applications. And $BEM is the economic blood connecting the entire system.
The ecosystem is still extremely early, yet builders are already shipping tools, markets, games, websites, payments and communication products.
I believe TapeOut is building toward a world-changing trend—and at a $13M market cap, $BEM is only beginning to be discovered. 🔥
This is an incredibly detailed and comprehensive write up on TapeOut, contributed by our legend CUPID ! It breaks down everything step by step, right from the foundational architecture level.
We hope our English community can share and retweet this so more people can discover what we're building. We still have a long way to go, and we're going all in !
Why does TapeOut start with transistors
Most blockchain applications start with Smart Contracts but TapeOut takes a different approach by starting from the basic building blocks of computation
In a traditional CPU transistors are the foundation of computation because they are combined to form logic gates which are then used to build Circuits and eventually complete Processors
TapeOut brings this idea On Chain by representing each transistor as a Token so the basic resources used to build computation can be owned and used by Builders
When a Builder tapes out a Circuit the transistor Tokens required to build that Circuit are consumed and the Circuit is permanently recorded On Chain
This means the resources are not simply being moved from one wallet to another but are actually being used to create something new
A more complex Circuit requires more transistor resources which creates a direct relationship between the resources used and the computation being built
That is why TapeOut does not start with the application layer
