You can safely split up a private key by adding a passphrase; this massively increases security:
✅ SEED WORDS + PASSPHRASE
Maybe something like...
Ten pieces of paper (numbered 0-9) in a cup.
Mix them around.
Pick a piece out until you get a 0, 1, or 2.
That's your first number.
Replace the pieces of paper.
Mix them around.
Pick a piece out.
That's your second number.
Etc, etc, until you have four numbers.
