The BIT Research Group at UPC has been collaborating in the @moliere_project funded by the @EU4Space showcasing the possibilities of the European global satellite-based navigation system Galileo in the context of public transportation in urban mobility.

BIT has developed a software tool specifically designed to analyze bus systems only through georeferenced data. Through the use of Galileo, many operational variables can be better inferred such as: i) Headway, ii) Dwell Time and iii) Energy consumption
