This is particularly interesting for the future of stablecoins.

As we shared previously, tax refunds could become one of the first real-world touchpoints for international visitors to experience stablecoins.

With Japan's new refund system now in place, the growing need for efficient cross-border payouts could open up new opportunities for stablecoin adoption.
