Children don’t learn responsibility and accountability from harsh punishments or shaming. They learn it from a parent who models repair after hurtful behavior. When a parent says: “I am sorry I yelled at you, I was frustrated and you didn’t deserve that. I will work to do better.” they’re reaching a child to take responsibility for behavior. Many adults lack accountability because they never had a parent teach them how to do it.
Being an introvert doesn’t mean that you sleep all the time nor that you are lazy, it just means that you don’t need other people to fill in your spaces, your time or to entertain you.
I'm an introvert. I don't hate people, I observe people. I know how they think, judge, project, perceive, feel & vibe. But I never call them out. And I like to keep it low-key and private. But if I ever show you the real me, trust me, you'll never be the same again.
