Why? Because the media DOES NOT CARE about the plight of African Christians.

This isn’t saying “don’t work.”
The very next verse talks about building, guarding, and raising families.
The point is priority, not passivity.
Psalm 127 says work without trusting God leads to anxiety and exhaustion, while work with God brings peace “He gives sleep to those He loves.”
It’s about resting in God’s provision while being faithful in our labour, not replacing work with sleep.

Pakistan: A federal court granted custody of a 13-year-old Christian girl to a Muslim man who had kidnapped, forcibly converted, raped and married her.

Maria Shahbaz’s parents were devastated by the ruling, after judges ignored earlier findings that the marriage was illegal.

150 men related to the rapist were present to intimidate the court.

The judges’ ruling is not just absurd but evil – it must be reversed.

Return the Christian child Maria Shahbaz to her family immediately.

If you affirm Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, then you must accept their plain testimony: Aisha states she was 6/7 at marriage and 9 at consummation. You cannot selectively reject sahih hadith when they become uncomfortable.
That said, child sexual abuse under any banner, religious or secular is evil. Anyone who exploits children is not following the God of Abraham, regardless of the label they claim.
It is tragic that crimes committed by elites are sometimes defended as “from God.” They are not. They are the work of evil.
If we focused less on deflecting blame between faiths and more on protecting victims and destroying abuse, the world would be far more stable.

How are we meant to “unite” when you deny Christianity’s core doctrine about Jesus?
Islam claims to confirm earlier revelation, yet rewrites it and rejects what Christians believe is essential.
And in many Muslim-majority countries today, Christian minorities face real persecution, so forgive me if “unity” feels one-sided.
The best I can do in the Lord’s name is love you, pray for you, and tolerate you (same for Jews and everyone). All I ask is the same in return: tolerate us and let us live our faith freely.
