He claimed that illegal immigrants keep invading Malaysia as UNHCR could issue cards without referring to the authorities.

“It is unfair for Malaysians, as though they are disrespecting the country”

Own citizens should come first.

Refugees work hard despite tough conditions. Good. Respect their effort 100%

But many sell on streets without rules and undercut poor locals by selling cheaper. This hurts local wages.

Our focus should still be helping marginalised Malaysians first with training and fair aid

Malaysians. My humble advice: Learn from Marginalized communities, especially refugees. Despite all odds against them in Malaysia, they work in forced labour conditions, feed their families, put a roof over their heads, face all kinds of violence and still come up in life. The grit, determination, perseverance, and creativity inspires me & my work. I don't think I could last a day in their shoes.
