Take a look to this #Bitcoin OP_Codes Table and you will realize that no only #OP_CAT is disabled in #BTC.
At the end of this year #BSV will fully restore the OpCodes with Chronicle update (including OP_VER, OP_VERIF, OP_VERNOTIF, OP_SUBSTR, OP_LEFT, OP_RIGHT, OP_2MUL and OP_2DIV), this will enable several new use cases and scripting functionalities.
Imagine each Opcode as an element of the chemical periodic table, they are building blocks that allows nature to create molecules, RNA and DNA chains. Likewise, opcodes represent the building blocks for a scripting universe and future decentralized autonomous organizations with their own DNA codes.
The Chronicle Update will further align the BSV blockchain with the original Bitcoin protocol and removes the last remaining restrictions for developers building on the BSV blockchain. Learn about the details here.

Here is one reason "Why the World Needs Bitcoin (BSV)"
On Monday evening, #Ueno Bank's depositors in #Paraguay could spend the money in their accounts. On Tuesday morning, after the central bank announced shortly after three that it had taken the bank over, they could not. The bank still owed its depositors. Their cards had stopped working. That is the point. A bank balance is not money you hold. It is a promise somebody else has to keep, and when they can't, somebody else decides how much you get back, and when.
#Bitcoin (BSV) held in a wallet only you control is a different kind of thing. It is nobody's promise. No bank stands between you and it, so no bank's bad loans, thin capital or friendly regulator can stop you sending it on Tuesday morning. You do not wait for a guarantee fund, a list of who gets paid first, or a law written that week. You can check for yourself, on a public ledger, that your BSV has not been spent. That is the reason to take Bitcoin seriously: not as a bet on a price, but as a way to hold some of your money in a form that does not depend on anybody else's balance sheet. The way to start is the way money is meant to be used: earn some, spend some, keep some.
It is not a free lunch. You must keep your wallet's secret code safe, the price can fall, few shops accept BSV yet, and its network has its own rules for freezing specific coins. The article sets all of that out. A BSV freeze has to target specific coins. Ueno's failure stopped every one of its 1.8 million depositors at once, without anyone having to accuse them of anything.

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a Houston-based investment fund that is looking for blockchain projects.
I only had 30 minutes for my introductory presentation of @3dordi to one of their vice presidents; I showed them the app’s activity over its first year, and I think I surprised him, as I’ve now advanced to the committee’s next review stage.
Help me being an active user, a couple of transactions monthly would go a long way toward sustainability and growth.
If you have a functional proof of concept project in BSV and are based in the U.S., send me a DM, and I’ll provide the link for you to apply for raise capital capital.
P.S. These are the kinds of doors we need to be knocking on; not the doors of COPA members and associates.
This still stands...
All i'm gonna say some people been working quietly for a couple years now.
The impossible...
What they've said can't be done...
Has been done.
The vibes in BitCoin will change.
Tonight Craig helped lay out the strategy to apply digital asset recovery and recover lost BTC. If someone has a significant amount of BTC lost and can prove they own it, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Every week, someone in #BitcoinSV#BSV ships something remarkable. New apps, wallets, websites, open repositories. Even BSV sent over radio, without the Internet.
And on X, it gets a day or two of attention before it disappears, buried under our timelines.
So I built a home for these BSV announcements and news-worthy reports that much of the world should be taking notice.
Creations on BSVSearch now has Features: pages that gather articles on one theme and keep them findable for weeks, months, years.
The first one is "BSV News & Announcements".
If you build on BSV, here is what it gives you:
✅Your news stays findable, on its own page
✅ Readers who came looking for BSV news, not passers-by
✅ Readers decide what rises by what they tipped and paid for, not an algorithm
✅ Followers get an email when you publish
✅ Paid in BSV if you want: tips, a price or a licence, wallet to wallet. Publishing is free.
Devs, founders, business leaders: write it down and send it in.

Remember when Satoshi said "I move to other thinhs.."?, Well, as it turns out, not only was he in Colombia in 2019 for a conference, but he also worked with an intelligence agency there around 2011. He risked his life combating human trafficking in Colombia border with Venezuela and was subsequently decorated and recognized as Bitcoin's inventor under the nickname Satoshi Nakamoto by the City Council of Bogotá, our nation's capital.

We learned a few new things about Satoshi Nakamoto this week from his recompiled oldest known bitcoin code.

I've been a @BankToTheFuture user for 10 years, and I know there is only one Bitcoin protocol change that Bitcoin OGs like @SimonDixonTwitt will never accept, will be the trigger they abandoned ship en masse at that moment.
Break the limit of 21M Bitcoin with inflation to save miners. @peterktodd, a BTC Core developer, says "Bitcoin Needs a Permanent Block Reward."
We are a year and a half away from the next halving, and without an increase in transactions or larger blocks, the network of the fake Bitcoin (BTC) will lack the means to sustain its network security. Miner companies will have no choice but to switch to the original Bitcoin network (BSV) or shut down.
