Two small changes I’ve made this year which have improved my quality of life :
- Replace coffee for tea
- Change my training time from after work to before work.
Result for me :
- Better sleep
- More energy
- Less anxiety
- Better verbal articulation
- Better body composition
Long-term HODLer here.
I used to think like this.
I thought regulatory wins & adoption would send BTC much higher.
Instead: harsh reality—outperformed by gold and S&P 500 in 2025.
Stack untouched, but now prioritizing retirement accounts with lower-vol assets.
If BTC moons: great.
If not: I’ll be a bit behind, but at least I won’t lose all of my stored economic energy.
Not financial advice, just my reflections.
@BritishHodl True. As of today, if I’m not mistaken, the 5 year CAGR is less than 10%. Understandable to evaluate the opportunity cost if there’s a comparable CAGR to the S&P. Not sure how sustainable STRC is if this is the case
These drawdowns have a way of grounding me. Instead of staring at charts and wishing for the moon, I double down on what I can actually control: getting to the gym more consistently, putting more effort into my work, keeping my expenses tight, and getting my life a bit more organized.
The red candles snap me out of that dream world where everything's supposed to pump tomorrow and drag me back to reality lol.
I keep stacking sats and stacking better habits #Bitcoin
Bought my first meaningful stack of Bitcoin back in 2021-2022. Fast forward to today : BTC sitting around $85K, that’s roughly 3x from my entry point.
Hodling through the 2022 bear, the sideways grinds, the noise—it’s paid off. That said… short-term? Yeah, I’m disappointed. Watching it flirt with new highs last year, then pull back again—feels like we’re stuck in this choppy range..
The impatience creeps in: “Why not moon already?” But then I zoom out and remember: Bitcoin doesn’t owe us linear gains. It’s volatile by design, and the real win is sovereignty, not daily charts.
@jackjonestv I was brought to tears by the first elderly woman.
They deserve so much more and the smallest gift can make their day. It makes me realise how self-centered I am.
Will be making big changes to my attitude.
Started by sending a message to my mom to tell her how much I miss her
