Their CEO shared the reason why at Bitcoin Vegas: after launching Lightning payments at over 400 restaurants worldwide, they’re saving 50% in processing fees by accepting bitcoin over Lightning, with settlement times much faster than credit cards. The term "grok" originates from Robert A. Heinlein's 1961 science fiction novel, Stranger in a Strange Land.
Grok is to understand intuitively or by empathy, to establish rapport with, to experience enjoyment; to empathize or communicate sympathetically with.
Grok is more than just understanding; it implies a profound, intuitive, and empathetic grasp of something, sometimes even a merging of consciousness with the object of understanding.
We don’t do “crypto.”
We don’t do shitcoins.
We build financial services for #Bitcoin.
While others got distracted, we stayed focused on making #Bitcoin more useful, because we believe #Bitcoin can change the world.
