@MrHodl If we are at the stage of nation state involvement in bitcoin, I think there would be a series "stress tests" performed to ensure it works as stated. I think we've seen some of these already, but how else do you ensure consensus can't be captured by a minority or figurehead?

@MrHodl I don't have any non-anecdotal evidence to support this idea, but it sure would make a lot more sense than the BIP-110 narrative. If the real intent of BIP-110 is demonstrate resilience to this particular attack vector.
