Quick update on our first release, Unicorn Derby, for everyone who's been following along and looking forward to playing.

The game has already been approved for launch, and we could have pushed it live already. Instead, we made the difficult decision to ask the Stake Engine Support team for another day or two.

We're really happy with how the game turned out, but during final testing across a wide range of devices we weren't satisfied with the mobile performance. Unicorn Derby is a very ambitious game with a lot happening on screen, and we think we can make it run even smoother.

As a new studio, we're trying to build games that can stand beside the biggest names in the industry. We'd rather launch a few days later than put out something that isn't the experience we want all players to have.

Appreciate everyone who's been waiting. We're almost there. 🦄✨

there is nothing utterly exciting about crypto at the moment or in the foreseeable future.

if you were around in the past bull and bear markets, new narratives seemed like innovation even if it was completely vaporware. there was a concept of effort throughout the industry. everyone was hyped for any new idea that was brought on chain.

new comers learning how to operate on chain for the first time had excitement and almost a type of dopamine rush you can’t explain. it felt like crypto was just bullish throughout even when price was down.

ease of use through AI, bots and launchpads, which seemed bullish back then has only made crypto a lot worse, anyone can deploy, anyone can create a dApp, anyone can do pretty much anything.

marketing and insider connections was really all you needed. effort died out completely.

memes, launchpad season, kols and fnf groups who launch multiple times a week brought zero excitement to the space.

there just isn’t enough dumbasses to buy those tokens anymore.

crypto will be cooked for a very long time.
