Bitcointry Closure Announcement and BTTY Update Dear Bitcointry Users, After more than three years of building, developing and operating Bitcointry, we have made a difficult but necessary decision regarding the future of the platform. Since launching Bitcointry in 2023, we have continuously worked to improve the platform, provide a secure and reliable service and deliver the best experience possible for our users. Throughout this journey, the security of user assets and the reliability of transactions have remained among our highest priorities. We will approach the remaining withdrawal process with the same level of responsibility. Unfortunately, our efforts have not been enough to make Bitcointry sustainable over the long term. Prolonged challenging market conditions, lower levels of user activity, difficulty achieving the visibility we had hoped for across major industry platforms, lower-than-expected trading volumes and operational costs consistently exceeding revenues have created significant challenges for the sustainability of the exchange. Throughout this period, significant personal funds have also been contributed to keep Bitcointry operating and to continue its development. We have now reached a point where continuing to finance the exchange in this way would no longer be sustainable or responsible. For these reasons, we have made the decision to discontinue Bitcointry's centralised exchange operations. Trading and Withdrawals Following this announcement: - New deposits will be disabled. - New trading will be disabled. - Withdrawals will remain available until 31 December 2026, providing users with sufficient time to withdraw their remaining assets. We strongly encourage all users to review their balances and complete their withdrawals well before the deadline. The security and orderly withdrawal of remaining user assets will be our highest priority throughout the closure process. About BTTY BTTY has been an important part of the Bitcointry journey and represented a vision we shared with our community. We sincerely thank everyone who believed in BTTY and supported the project throughout its development. With the closure of Bitcointry's centralised exchange operations, the Bitcointry team will also discontinue active development, marketing, new listing efforts and other promotional or liquidity-support activities relating to BTTY. However, the existing BTTY liquidity on PancakeSwap will not be withdrawn. It will remain in place, allowing BTTY to continue trading on the decentralised market independently of Bitcointry's centralised exchange operations.
