True. But the difficulty adjustment only controls how fast blocks are found. It doesn’t change the fact that asic miners are bloody expensive, and they built a massive barrier to entry for regular folks who would love to mine with whatever hardware they have. These 'big boy' miners basically eliminated the regular person's ability to contribute to the network's security and incentives.

The year is 2026. I expect that by now, telecos in Nigeria would have improved their services to allow active phone calls to end properly, rather than being abruptly cut off due to insufficient funds. Alternatively, they should allow a caller to extend the call time during an active call session on credit against the next recharge. @MTNNG @AirtelNigeria
