I blame Mia Farrow for the downfall of #SyFy Saturdays.
Because had she not tweeted about that 1st #Sharknado movie, and it blew up on Twitter, no one would have tuned in to watch, and #SyFy wouldnt have made more, and Id still have my senseless SyFySaturday movies.
@odedanilo Since 1998, yeppers! Even tho the 2 of them no longer speak to each other (i meet them as bestie), i still speak to them two, separately of course.
Moments I wish Twitter was around for:
- Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky
- Malice at the Palace
- Janet Jackson nip slip
- Randy Johnson killing that bird
- Michael Jordan playing baseball
-Red Sox 3-0 comeback
- Chris Webber timeout
What am I missing?
@KristyT@h0va4lyfe And in some cultures, sometimes older cousins are referred to as "aunt or uncle" instead when the kids are too young to understand the adult cousin dynamic. My mom has cousins her age i look at more like uncles than cousin. I've referred to them as such also
@KristyT@h0va4lyfe And also, it's more rooted in black American culture, when families grow up close in community with generations living under the same roof. Or, even in low income/ poverty when families can't afford to live separately. It's nothing bad about it. Threes a trust there with it.
