Something about mff worth noting this year that I think is kinda being slept on-

The con managed to get a lot of the “action” to move out of the Hyatt and into the convention center

This isn’t to say the Hyatt isn’t still a bustling center of furry fun during the weekend, but this extension of the con has, not only made the con feel less crunched up, but also made non-main hotels seem like more acceptable options.

So many people gathered in the common areas of the convention center it’s made previous (what I considered) c/d-tier hotels much closer to a-tier imo

Hotels like the double tree or embassy now feel even closer and, as someone who traditionally been very “main or bust” when it comes to attending mff, I think this might change that thought process for me a lot. I think it’s a worthwhile consideration for others who have had a similar line of thought.

Mff was a blast this year. It had that 5,000-person-con feel even while growing 1,300 people from last year.

Really pleasant time overall :)
