Patiala’s ancient Vaman Avatar Temple and Sarovar are in need of reconstruction. For this cause, Shri Anurag Sharma and his companions have begun a fast unto death. Earlier, a peaceful protest fast was carried out for nearly a month, but the administration did not take any proper action.
Despite the fact that the Dharmarth Board of Patiala has crores of rupees available for the improvement and maintenance of temples, this money is not being utilized for this ancient and historical religious site.
At this moment, immediate efforts should be made to protect the health and lives of the individuals who are sitting on a fast unto death. If any unfortunate incident occurs, the full responsibility will lie with the Patiala administration
