Pipeline I've been experimenting with for building out structured worlds:
โ Blender to block out the environment with simple shapes
โ Chisel (World Labs) to generate detailed worlds while preserving the layout
โ Cursor + Three.js to add a character controller and physics
@EyeOfScar Obsessing over scalability and best practices is a great way to end up making nothing at all in a creative field. And we have the example of AAAA and mobile F2P games, where best practices, polished metrics, and years of optimization have massacred creativity
I've improved the rake tool and made it much more precise. I've also made a few changes on the sounds!

@Taikwy You don't need 3d for the most of this stuff actually. Except parallax (and even parallax is easy to fake).
You just need fake depth and height map like this
