MEXICAN FRAUDSTERS SENTENCED IN NATIONWIDE FAKE ID SCHEME

Mexican couple Karina Garcia-Salazar and Jorge Augusto Prieto-Gamboa were sentenced for producing and selling thousands of FAKE IDs nationwide following ICE Homeland Security Investigations Dallas probe.

A search warrant executed at the couple’s Tulsa residence resulted in the seizure of:

—67 completed fake documents
—2,000+ digital identification documents
—$32,000 in cash
—Electronic devices, client ledgers and evidence of nationwide distribution.

One fake ID document was sold to an individual later convicted of smuggling and trafficking narcotics into the U.S.
