Officers with the Bixby Police Department were just recently assigned new equipment. The equipment is a Holosun optic for their duties pistols. The officers went through a classroom training and range training to qualify with the new optic.
While the citizens of Bixby slept comfortably in their beds. Crp. Marshall not pictured conducted a traffic stop that led to the seizure of 2 pounds of marijuana, 11 grams fentanyl, 6 grams methamphetamine, and 3 dangerous weapons.
BPD Cpl. Walsh and Det. Kendricks accepted delivery of 40 backpacks for children in crisis. These will be given by Offs. to children in crisis or traumatic events. Each bag has a blanket, small pillow, a stuffed animal and other items. THANKS to Stephanie Haddock and the “Joy#

Congratulations to Officer David Grant, Officer Billy Hutcherson, and Officer Kallie Pierce completed their 8 week Mini-Academy and received their badges today. All three will begin field training then attend the CLEET Academy in March
