It’s a task and a half to get to the Rose bowl and parking on the golf course is trash.
This is a smart marketing move you can show the numbers to a sponsor and sign several ten year deals .
Lot to chew on here.
Free tickets for students is a good thing. Get the kids in the building. But part of me wonders what it says that they had to make them free. Is UCLA just no longer a football and hoops school at heart? Or is the campus too pretty and LA too much fun for thousands of students to bother showing up to games?
And didn't we just hear UCLA was tight on money? I'd love to see the accounting on how giving away seats pencils out. Somebody smarter than me explain it.
Either way, enjoy these tickets Bruins!

Baker Mayfield is the Michael Phelps of Johnny Manziels.
If you’re not a fan of Baker Mayfield you’re not a fan of life.

Saw Marshawn Lynch in another campaign today...
Feels like he's in a new one every week now. Applebee's, Oakley glasses, some AI company.
And I love it for him.
But it's still kind of wild that Beast Mode, a running back who barely wanted to talk to the media, became one of the most marketable retired football players of his generation.
I say all of that to ask: What actually makes an athlete marketable in 2026? The résumé? Social media savvy? A knack for going viral? Or is it just being yourself and not budging on it?
I don't know the exact recipe, but I'd love to hear what you all think!
