@LouStagner According to USGA Rule 20.2e, a player can not be disqualified after the close of competition. The presentation of the trophy marks the close of competition. Nothing to see here. Keep the trophy, keep your mouth shut, and start planning the champions dinner for next year.

@LouStagner Define a "divot"? When is a divot no longer a divot? You want a six hour round, implement this rule.

I have several friends who are high level USGA rules officials. They have told me this rule will NEVER be changed because of the chaos it would cause.

@Tlm75703 @LouStagner Why? I don't care if a player doesnt like that I use it. I may not like the fact they take 4 practice strokes before every putt but still 3 putt 50% of the time but they are going to do it anyway.

@LouStagner Aimpoint works and using it does not slow down anyone. Most of the green reading with Aimpoint can be done while the other players are putting. Guess what? The entire area around the hole has already been walked on a zillion times.

@PGATUOR @GolfTourChicago People don't understand how course rating affects their handicap. I am a scratch golfer. I shoot par or better about 10% of my rounds. I am scratch, however, because I frequently score lower than the course rating for whatever tees I am playing.

@GolfweekNichols Nelly & Scottie. Reminds me of when @ANNIKA59 was winning everything in sight at the same time Tiger was. Annika never received the attention & recognition she deserved. Nelly is dominating & flying under the radar because of Scottie's success. Unfortunate reality.

@JasonB1226 @BradleySKlein That was a hell of a round from Moryia! Fri was miserable. Usually I am walking the course for the Golf Channel. I was stuck in a scoring trailer for 3 days this year. Was very thankful for that on Fri. 🥶
